Private Lessons

Private lessons are important for each owner to gain a clear understanding of how to train and handle their dog in dynamic scenarios. You will work with your dog along side Tony during weekly 1 hour sessions learning how to use your chosen training tools and how to properly guide your dog and help them learn the desired commands to achieve your goals. 

It is expected that you will complete "homework" outside of these lessons with Tony in order to advance through levels and achieve the desired results. We recommend clients put aside 5-7 hours per week working with their dog during this process.

Note: dogs must be over 6 months of age. If your dog is younger please see our puppy package options!

- Primary focus: sit, place and "with me" (ie loose leash walking)   

- Time expected: 4 - 5 lessons

- Primary focus: level 1 review, adding down, leave it or out and door bolting

- Time expected: 4 - 6 lessons

- Primary focus: review of level 1 and 2 commands, adding in duration and distance 

- Time expected: 4+ lessons (depending on personal goals)

- advanced obedience training 

- primary focus: review levels 1-3, adding hand signals, half way recall and off leash training

- Time expected: 10+ lessons (depending on goals and dog ability)

please keep in mind that the time expected is only an estimate. It all depends on you and your dog and how much progress you can make together in between lessons with Tony.
